Born in Kano in 1947. Attended Ahmadu bello University, Zaria and obtained B. A. Fine Arts, majoring in Painting. An internationally recognized experimentalist artist, he is a master handler of many media of Fine Art including beadwork, etching, stain glass, mosaic etc. A full-time studio artist, he is a committed lover of horticulture.
