Buraimoh was born in 1943 in Oshogbo, Nigeria. He is one of the most prominent studio artists of the informal Oshogbo art school. Prior to that, he nutured his creative instincts in a theater group in 1964. Through his career, Buraimoh’s skills have embraced drawing and painting, textile and lately bead painting.

Like every Oshogbo artists, Buraimoh’s themes draw primarily from the Yoruba traditional mythology and social life. He is widely traveled and his participation in exhibitions and workshops around the world is a testimony to his successful career
