Oshinowo graduated from the Zaria Art School but has lectured in the Yaba College of Technology as an art teacher for 26 years. His genre of mainly landscapes and his style of painting have been instrumental to the shaping of many younger artists in a distinctive Yaba style. Oshinowo’s characteristically employs demure hues in addressing his everyday outdoor themes.

With about 18 solo exhibitions to his credit the artist’s proficiency is not in question.
