George Nwadiogbu was born on July 27, 1960 in Jos, Nigeria. He trained at Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, obtaining a HND in Fine Arts with a major in painting. His professional experience, which began in 1986 with a residency at Emmanuel Mbanefo's Destiny Studio, Onitsha, also includes a one-year stint with late Professor Ben Enwonwu at his Ikoyi Studios. A tireless experimentalist, Nwadiogbu has held four solo exhibitions and participated in thirteen group shows, including Changing Attitudes, 4th Biennale of the Pan-African Circle of Artists.
