Ugochukwu trained as a sculptor at the University of Nigeria where he graduated in second-class (upper credit) and emerged as the over-all best graduating student in the 1999/2000 session. He is a multi-talented artist who finds creative expression through sculpture, conceptual art, painting, installation, music, poetry and culture activism.

He is a member of The Pan-African Circle of Artists, The Visual Orchestra, The Art Republic and Congress for Cultural Action in West Africa. He has participated in several art activities both locally and internationally which include exhibitions, workshops, conferences etc. Presently, he is the coordinator of The Art Republic among other numerous engagements.
